So the baby shower was a great time! We definitely got spoiled by everyone. Here are some fun pictures to commemorate the occasion.
We have been to the doctor each week lately and this week gave me some cause for concern... Apparently, well not even apparently, we really did- gain four times what is typical for this time! We're to gain about a pound a week and the baby takes about half that, averaging an ounce of weight gain a day. We gained four pounds- Yeah! Not really. I was pretty convinced the child would be an average size until this. I think I am retaining some water and this was my first week off work, but I can't imagine to account for all of that... But I guess I'd rather have a healthy chunky monkey than a baby that's not gaining weight. Don't ask me during labor though, probably will say some totally different things!
We have a neighbor that just had a baby and boy did she have a load... The baby girl was 11lbs. 8oz.! Wow- So I'm thinking, there can't be that many huge babies born, right?!? Unless it's in the air over here!
