On Saturday we went for our third visit, how fun! They did the normal stuff...took my weight (will always look forward to this portion of the visit ;), blood pressure and examined the belly. It's actually starting to grow! You can tell something is going on in there...
But, we did hear the baby's heartbeat again! Very exciting, it was 141-142 bpm...couldn't get an exact because Rich started cheering in the corner, "It's getting close to the boy zone!" and I started laughing and it was all over. I've tried to explain to Rich that the baby's heart beat regularly decreases while it grows... but of course I don't know how much he hears of that!
So, next month (Nov. 30) we go in for the 'Big Ultrasound.' That should be fun, the Doctor's already told Rich if the orders are to wait on the gender, he's going to have to turn his head during that part... we'll see how well that goes. But hopefully we have a nice picture of the baby from that visit!
